Do You Hire Candidates Who Are Currently Outside the UAE?
If you’re currently outside the UAE, you might be wondering:
“Should I even apply for a job in Dubai if I’m not there yet?”
Yes. You can still apply. https://www.youtube.com/@littlecornerthoughts
You don’t always need to be physically in Dubai before applying for a job. Many companies, especially those hiring internationally, are open to receiving applications from candidates who are still overseas.
And honestly, I know why you’re asking.
You probably don’t want to spend money on a flight, book a hotel, or travel all the way to Dubai just hoping that someone might consider your CV.
You don’t have to do that just to apply.

If your experience matches the role, submit your application from wherever you are. Some companies may even conduct the first interview virtually. If you move forward, they’ll let you know what happens next — whether they need you to attend an in-person interview or whether they can continue the process remotely.
One thing I always tell candidates, though:
Read the job posting carefully.
If the company specifically says “UAE-based candidates only,” “currently in Dubai,” or “must be available for an immediate interview,” then your situation may be different.
But if there’s no such requirement?
Don’t count yourself out just because you’re not in Dubai yet.
Apply first. Let the company decide if you’re the right person for the role.
Sometimes, the biggest mistake you can make is rejecting yourself before the company even gets the chance to.
