The Internship I Wish I Had

When I look back at my student years, one thing I wish I had done differently was to take an internship.
At that time, I thought studying was enough. I didn't really understand what it meant to work with different people, handle responsibilities, or be part of a real workplace.
An internship could have given me a small window into the working world. It might have helped me discover what I enjoyed, what I didn't, and perhaps even given me a clearer idea of which path I wanted to take.
Sometimes, we only understand the value of an experience after we have already passed that stage in life.
If I could go back, I would tell my younger self: Don't be afraid to try. An internship is not just about gaining experience. It's also about discovering yourself.
